ABOUT GREEN LEGACY SUMMIT 2024

An extension of the APCW 2023, Green Legacy Johor Summit 2024 (GLJS 2024) convened under the auspices of the Johor State Government with the objective to position Johor as a vanguard in environmental stewardship and sustainability.

With the theme “Global Unity for Climate Action “, the summit aims to unite global leaders, experts, and stakeholders to strategize on mitigating environmental challenges and fostering a collective commitment to our planet’s preservation. It will feature, keynote addresses, workshops, exhibitions, and interactive activities promoting sustainable practices.

This year’s, Green Legacy Johor Summit 2024 will take place at Persada Johor International Convention Centre in city of Johor Bahru from 8th to 10th October 2024

About Venue

Persada Johor International Convention Centre is the first convention centre in Malaysia to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). The centre’s operations are aligned to the UNGC’s ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

The convention centre is located within easy reach of two international airports (Senai in Johor and Changi in Singapore), and three shipping ports. It is also connected by a modern network of expressways and railways that lead to and from Singapore and Peninsular Malaysia.
